Training Timeline

  • July 2017: Moved to Bentfork Farms for rehab from neglect
  • August – November 2017: Lots and lots of groundwork and a few short rides
  • December 2017: Started under professional training
  • February 2018: Won her first Beginner Novice CT
  • March 2018: Ran her first 3-phase event at Chattahoochee Hills – Beginner Novice
  • April 2018: Placed second at the Southeast Thoroughbred Showcase – Beginner Novice CT
  • June 2018: Placed second at Poplar Place 3-phase Horse Trail – Beginner Novice
  • August 2018: Ran Novice and won at Chattahoochee Hills 3-Phase
  • October 2018: Placed in the top 3rd of all Eventing entries at the 2018 Retired Racehorse Project Thoroughbred Makeover in Lexington, KY.
  • 2019 she’s ready to get back to work with a new partner!

She has taken dressage lessons with Leah Marks and completed a xc footwork clinic with Beth Stelzleni

She has also been on trail rides (can hack out alone or with a group), done plenty of xc schooling, dressage work, arena jumping. She loads, clips, ties, bathes with no problem, and she has SCOPE!
